Blumin first worked with Douglas Scott back in 2015, firstly on their website and brand with a bold and disruptive creative, winning Recruitment Business Awards for our Brand Animation, then more recently with their more modern contemporary website, along with numerous brand collateral, including their annual Salary Survey, including illustration, animation and infographics with supporting marketing.

We've designed and built their website on a custom Laravel framework, allowing us the flexibility to develop integration with not only Broadbean Jobs Board, but also with a custom built CRM for their Master Vendor Recruitment Portal.

WordPress – one size does not fit all…

Wireframe and UX design, iteration, prototype, build and launch. At Blumin, we always ensure we use the right technology and platform for website builds. There was a very clear need from the start to have a high degree of flexibility and custom integration because of the Broadbean jobs board platform and also the CRM for their Master Vendor Recruitment Portal. For this project, we used a Laravel framework ensuring we could build a fast and highly bespoke website.

Jobs Board Integration

Full integration with Broadbean's API. Our custom build leveraged the API to ensure we used all the functionality available with a simple user registration and login keeps track of jobs applied for and alerts of any jobs matching their criteria. Candidates can also manage their profile including updating their CV.

Responsive

Many candidates browse jobs on their way to work, so the website was optimised for ease of use when searching for jobs on the move. In fact, all breakpoints were considered for the best user experience on any device.

Digital Transformation – Recruitment Portal Web Application

At Blumin, we don't just build websites, we build web apps to digitally transform businesses. Douglas Scott needed a recruitment portal that was far more than a bog-standard online repository for jobs and CVs. A Digital Transformation project which required a sophisticated web application that would eliminate blockages in the recruitment process, reduce client’s HR administration time, eliminate duplicate candidates, allow real-time status reporting for all hiring managers, and deliver tiered management information.
